Welcome back to ninabuzzi.com 2.0!
I launched my blog The Wardrobe Editor by Nina Buzzi in 2013. At the time I was working as a head buyer and concept developer in the fashion industry. As a fun side project I also sometimes worked as a personal shopper, where I helped business women curate a timeless and professional wardrobe. The Wardrobe Editor was meant to be an extension of this, where I mixed personal reflections and style, with tips and tricks about how to edit your wardrobe. In 2016 I shut down the blog because of, well, #life and #career.
In 2018 I realised that I really miss the creative platform a personal blog is, and decided to re-launch, this time with a slightly broader focus. I realised that if I'm going to start blogging again I have to do it on my own terms, redefine what's interesting for me to write about, and dare to make the decision to be more personal in my writing.
As I previously only dared to enclose a small part of myself, immersed in some kind of perfect fashion lifestyle bubble, I realised that I found this boring on all levels.
So the blog 2.0 is not just about fashion and style. It is also just as much about inner values.
I don’t have all the answers, but I have a lot of questions in which I think you can find inspiration and motivation. I don't appoint myself as an expert on anything, but the one thing I am, is extremely curious. I always wonder why things are as they are, and what lies behind the facade. I love to learn, and connect with interesting people who have thoughts far beyond my own. You will meet some of these people here on my blog.
What can you wear to feel powerful in a difficult meeting? What can we do as consumers to live more sustainable? Which are the trusted items to go for when you literally have 5 minutes to get dressed in the morning, and everything just feels dark? How to feel confident on a stage, when you are actually an introvert? Which colours will make you feel empowered? How on earth does a person just like you and me get the guts to jump of the established career path to start their own company? Small and big questions, personal reflections, and tips from those who knows.
The purpose of ninabuzzi.com 2.0 is that you as a reader should feel positively inspired, empowered and motivated.
What you won’t find here is “Three Garments You Must Buy This Season”. I have always found this statement belittling of the reader. Nor will I write about the coolest it-places to travel to, or the most advanced form of fashion. For this, there are other blogs and publications that are really good and exciting.
I want to help you, and me, to discover the best versions of ourselves.
I hope you would like to follow, and participate.
PS: Obviously English isn’t my first language, so please bear with both my typos and grammatical errors!
